In DARQ, players step into the shoes of Lloyd, a youngster who finds himself trapped in a lucid nightmare. In addition to these visual and performance improvements, PlayStation 5 players will also benefit from the DualSense haptics feature. For example, both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game will be playable in cinematic mode at 4K resolution at 30fps, or in performance mode at 1800p resolution at 60fps.

Of course, the next-generation version of DARQ: Complete Edition comes with many improvements. However, it's important to mention that owners of DARQ: Complete Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to update to their respective next-gen editions for free, so that's a major benefit. If you're on PC, DARQ: Complete Edition is already available for purchase via Steam for €16.79, but the next-gen and Nintendo Switch owners will have to pay $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 for the game. Developer Unfold Games and publisher Feardmic announced they will bring the surrealist horror puzzler to Nintendo Switch on March 18, while PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners will get it one week later on March 25. DARQ: Complete Edition has just been confirmed for Nintendo Switch and next-generation consoles.
